Judaculla’s Hand

Judaculla was a giant. Centuries ago he made his home in the southern Appalachian mountains where he would leap from one mountain to another. Judaculla left his mark all around the mountains including a rock known¬†today as Judaculla’s Rock because of the large 6-fingered handprint left by the giant.

Judaculla’s Rock is in Jackson County, North Carolina and is open to the public. It showcases many other markings and petroglyphs.
