About Authentically Cherokee
Authentically Cherokee is a cooperative platform that features the artwork of multiple artists from the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians. Each artist maintains their own individual page and inventory. When purchasing from multiple artists, please note that you may receive separate shipments.
AuthenticallyCherokee.com verifies that each artist is an enrolled citizen of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians, but we do not inspect each individual piece. If you encounter any quality issues, please reach out directly to the artist.
Shipping Information
- Items are shipped directly from the artist who created them.
- We collaborate with each artist to ensure that your items arrive safely. If an item is received in damaged condition, we will be happy to replace it.
- All domestic orders are shipped via USPS. Please expect delays during holiday periods.
Returns & Exchanges
We strive to accurately represent and describe our items on the website. Since all items are one-of-a-kind, handmade pieces, they may have natural imperfections and variations. We ask that you consider these characteristics when making your purchase.
If you are unhappy with your order, please contact us within 10 business days to arrange for a refund or exchange. If an item arrives damaged, we will gladly exchange it for a similar item of equal value.
To report a damaged item:
- Contact us within 1 business day of receiving the item. You can reach us by phone at 828-359-5005 (9 am – 5 pm EST) or by email at hopehuskey@sequoyahfund.org.
- Please take several photos of the item(s), the shipping box (including the shipping label), and the packaging.
- Email the photos to hopehuskey@sequoyahfund.org.
- Save all packaging materials and damaged items for inspection.
All returns and exchanges must be in original condition and packaging to qualify for a refund or exchange. We will provide you with instructions on how to return the item. A refund will be issued upon the safe return of the item.
Important Notes
- The buyer is responsible for return shipping costs, and these charges are non-refundable.
- Buyers are responsible for any damage that occurs during return shipping.
- After a 10-day grace period from the delivery date, all sales are final.
- We do not offer refunds for stolen packages.
